3381263 - "Creation failed with error code 4" when generating a pse for SNC configuration on cloud connector

Symptom

You are configuring Secure Network Connection (SNC) to set up Cloud Connector for RFC communication to an ABAP backend system.
When executing the interactive setup script 'snc_create_pse', you receive the following error on command line:
"
Specify the own certificate name in the format as CN=host,OU=org,O=comp,C=lang: CN=xxxx,OU=XXX XXX,O=XXX XXXX,L=XXX,SP=XXXX,C=XX

Specify the import certificate file of the partner contained in C:\SAP\nsnwdvsapccon1_snc\sec:
Creating PSE now...

Huh? I found 2 trailing unrecognized parameters on commandline!?

Creation failed with error code 4.
