3381346 - No Journal Entry Created Against Production order

Production Confirmation is being generated however there is no Journal Entry being created against production order.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Production Control work center.
2. Go to the required Production Order ID.
3. Select and edit it.
4. Navigate to the document flow.
5. Here the system has created production confirmation against task IDs however no JE is being created.

1. Since no quantity is confirmed for output product in the relevant make task, no Journal Entry is being created.
2. It is because for output product, fulfilled quantity is 0ea and no input product is being consumed.
3. If there is no amount posted against any quantity, Journal Entry does not get created.

1. The user must update the quantity for the output product which in turn updates the fulfill quantity.
2. Check production confirmation, now journal entry gets generated.
