3381437 - SCIM API: Managing Identity Time Zone Mapping

Symptom

As Of 2H 2023, SuccessFactors SCIM API now supports the return of timezone field

  

Background:

  • In SAP SuccessFactors, time zone is not a restricted element so customers data could possess various formats (e.g. string, picklist, etc.) 
       
  • In IAS integration, IAS can accept Standard Time Zone Format only.
      
  • If the time zone is not in this format the integration to IAS will fail. In order to mitigate a data mapping issue, the 1st version of SCIM API did not support time zone field.
