3381528 - New material group description missing in the value help

A user has changed the description of one or more Material groups in the customising 'Define Material Groups' (SSCUI 102665). 
When a purchase order is created via the fiori APP 'Manage Purchase Orders' the amended description is not visible.   

SAP S/4Hana Cloud 

1. In customising go to 'Define Material Groups' (SSCUI 102665). 
2. find the Material Group
3. Enter the new description in the 'Material Group Desc.' field and save 
4. Open APP 'Manage Purchase Orders' 
5. Enter all master data required and choose the Value Help on the 'Material Group' field. 
6. The amended description for this material Group is not visible. 

There are 2 Material Group description fields in the definition of the Material Group. The value help for the field in the APP 'Manage Purchase Orders' is taken from field 'Description Group 2' for the material group.


  
  

• If using both 'Create Purchase Orders Advanced' and 'Manage Purchase Orders', enter the description in both description fields in the SSCUI
• If using only 'Manage Purchase Orders' for creating purchase orders it is enough to maintain the 'Description Group 2 for the material group'
