3381587 - 3380569 - "The data source is invalid: 'while trying to enter a null monitor loaded from local variable'" error message appears when refreshing a crystal report containing parameters in Crystal Reports for Enterprise

Symptom

  • When trying to refresh a crystal report it is throwing error message for specific parameter values in Crystal Reports for Enterprise:

    "The data source is invalid: 'while trying to enter a null monitor loaded from local variable'. Please contact the maintainer of the data source to solve the problem."

  • It is also not possible to create a new Crystal and Web Intelligence report for the same BEx Query, using the same parameter values.
  • The report can be refreshed/created using other parameter values.
