3381617 - City Parameter for Advanced Filter within Accounts

You want to search the Accounts which have no City maintained by selecting Criteria = Is Initial in Advanced Search. However, the results are not consistent, as the Accounts with City maintained are also appearing in result. 

SAP Cloud for Customer 

1. Go to Customers workcenter.
2. Open Accounts view. 
3. In Accounts OWL, open the Advanced Search.
4. Select a Country and criteria City = Is initial.
5. The results contain the City names instead of blank data. 

This is the current behavior of the system. 

An account can have multiple addresses and via the address parameters in the Account OWL, Advanced Search is performed in all addresses.

This means if you search for accounts with Country/Region = Germany (for example) and City = Is Initial, you will find all accounts having an address where this criteria is fulfilled.

There is also an Advanced Search parameter "main address" in the OWL which can be used to only search in the main address (pers. hidden). If you would perform the same search as mentioned above with additionally "main address" = true, some Accounts will not be returned.
