3381849 - PSM Request for Node PROD_INPUT_ITEM_SCRP_FACTOR of Business Object PRODUCTION_SEGMENT

Open any production model in the system and go to Bill of Operations Tab - Product Assignment Subtab, you will find field <Input Scrap> in the line of element Input Material.

You need to set the field during the migration of the production models. Since this field is not available in the migration file, you want to achieve that with the ABSL script.

However, you find that the PSM of Node PROD_INPUT_ITEM_SCRP_FACTOR is Not Released, while checking the association Business Object PRODUCTION_SEGMENT as per following path. 

Path: BO PRODUCTION_MODEL -> Root PRODUCTION_SEGMENT > Associations BO PRODUCTION_SEGMENT ->Root ->PROD_INPUT_ITEM_SCRP_FACTOR- IPSCRAP

Basically, production model is the hierarchical view of Bill of Operation + Bill of Material + additional info on production model. The Input scrap field is built on hierarchical node in ippe framework, so PSM write access will not work on the hierarchical node.

We cannot provide PSM release to the Input scrap field due to logical constraints.
