Resolution

While making a DRTM Employment Info purge, the records will be purged according to the retention periods defined on Manage Data for this object. Instead of purging the whole HRIS Element or object, only the records from before the defined period will be purged.

Our example is using DRTM Employment Info Purge Objects: DRTM_COMPENSATION (DRTM_COMPENSATION).

  1. You should define the Retention Time for each country on Manage Data. And it is gonna count from the current date;

  2. Taking, as example, an employee from Australia whose Compensation History is below;

  3. Saving and launching a New Purge Request;
    Note that you will receive an email of Data purge request. And it needs to be approved or declined.

  4. Go to Purge Request Monitor to approve or decline it;

  5. After DRTM purge, note that Sep 02, 2013 record remains because it's valid until Sep 26, 2021 (previous date of Sep 27, 2021);

  6. But if we change Sep 27, 2021 record for Sep 26, 2021...

    And run the purge again, we are going to see the following:

It happened because Sep 26, 2021 belongs to retention time defined previously.
