3382259 - Error Navigation not supported for fixed asset retirement in Manage Fixed Assets app

Symptom

The Post Asset Retirement app cannot be located, or via the Manage Fixed Assets app the error message 'Navigation to this application is not supported.' is given when trying the shortcut link.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Cause

The necessary business catalog for the app has not been assigned to the business roles that have been assigned to the user.

Resolution

Assign the business catalog SAP_FIN_BC_AA_POST_REG_PC to the business role used for asset accounting.
