Symptom

  • Performing steps in Note <1899365 - How to setup self-signed test SSL with ASE, SDK, SRS - SAP ASE> 
  • Step 8 of <Grab ASE private key> failed with error:

    user@hostname:/$SYBASE/$SYBASE_OCS/bin> java com.sap.security.ExportPrivateKey -keystore ASEname.jks -alias ASEname -file ASEname.key -storepass password
    Error: Could not find or load main class com.sap.security.ExportPrivateKey
