3382766 - SCC Cloud to On-premise call fails with trustAnchors parameter must be non-empty exception

Symptom

  • Cloud to On-premise connections between BTP -> SCC -> On-Premise system fails; or
  • The connection check from SCC -> Cloud to On-Premise towards a backend system fails
  • In the SCC ljs_trace.log/scc_core.trc, below exception is found:
    javax.net.ssl.SSLException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Unexpected error: java.security.InvalidAlgorithmParameterException: the trustAnchors parameter must be non-empty
