3382798 - Rollout Schedule for Enhanced Search

We've added an enhanced search capability as part of the new Learning experience. We've expanded what can be searched, provided additional filters to narrow the search results, and improved the overall user experience. This article will provide the rollout schedule.

VSaaS (Validated) tenants: The new search will not be included in the 2024 VSaaS upgrade, but it is targeted for the 2025 release.

Note: If the data center the Learning tenant is on is not listed below, the new search experience is not yet available and the legacy search will continue to be used until the new search is available. We will update this KBA with the rollout schedule for Enhanced Search in the remaining data centers in the near future.

When SuccessFactors rolls out enhanced search for a tenant, a check is performed to determine if the new Learning experience is enabled. If an administrator opted out of the new Learning experience, the data processing for the search indexes won’t start immediately. When the administrator enables the new Learning experience, the data processing will start. It can take up to 12 hours to complete processing. While the data processing is in progress, users will be directed to legacy search. After the search indexes are available, users will be directed to the enhanced search.
