3383207 - Enablement of automated solr backup - SAP Commerce Cloud

Symptom

SAP carries out the following backend procedure when switching from Basic to Premium Disaster Recovery (DR)

  1. Reconfigure the environment’s resources to match the Premium DR setup,
  2. Propagate changes to the cloud provider,
  3. Mark the previous build as ‘scheduled’.

This procedure should have no impact on running environments. Only step 3 results in a noticeable change, in that existing builds are marked as ‘scheduled’ to differentiate the app images used for specific DR types. Changing the status to ‘scheduled’ affects only build entries and is designed to avoid them being redeployed. 

When Premium DR is enabled, a new build should be created and deployed to all environments as soon as possible to leverage the enhanced backup functionality.
