3383456 - Unable to Remove a Serial Number for an Input Product in Production Task Confirmation Screen

You have confirmed a serial number for an input product in a production task, now you want to remove it, but you find the Remove button is disabled for this serial number.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to work center Production Control.
2. Access view Task Control.
3. Click Confirm against production task ABC (ABC represents production task ID).
4. Select tab Confirmation, sub tab Input Products.
5. Select input product DEF (DEF represents product ID).
6. Select sub tab Serial Numbers in the below, we can see serial number SN_1 (SN_1 represents serial number ID) and button Remove is disabled.

Once a serial number is confirmed as input product in production task, the button Remove in the task confirmation screen will be disabled for this serial number. The only way to remove the serial number is to reverse the corresponding production confirmation.

This is system standard behavior.
