3383654 - In the Print Preview, Some of the Address Fields are in Upper Case and Lower Case

In the Business Partner data, in the Address Overview, the Print Preview displays some fields in upper case letters and some in lower case letters.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Go to the app Maintain Business Partner
2. Find and open the Business Partner ID
3. Go to the tab Address Overview
4. Select the address entry
5. Click on the button Print Preview
6. For example:
7. City is in upper case CITY. House No, Street are in lower case letters

In the Address: Print Preview dialog box, select the question mark icon (Help F1) which displays the Address label – Print Preview help content.
A formatted address is displayed in a popup. The address is formatted by the function module Address_into_Printform according to national and international guidelines.    
If you click on the Address_into_Printform, you will be directed to a Performance Assistant screen, which has information about the Address Format According to Post Office Guidelines.

For addresses where the recipient country and the sender country are different, the city and the country lines are printed in uppercase. The address printed follows the guidelines set forth by the Universal Postal Union as closely as possible. One of these guidelines is to print the city and country in upper case in any international address.

Business Address Services (BAS) provides you with different address layouts that abide by the formatting rules of Universal Postal Union.
