3383908 - Extension field value is not updated to standard Data Source: Purchase Order Delivery Reliability

One extension field created on purchase order item level and has been extended to data source: Purchase Order Delivery Reliability (SRMPO_U02).

However, even if value maintained in the order itself, the value is not updated to the data source as expected.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
2. Go to Data Sources view.
3. Filter data source: Purchase Order Delivery Reliability (SRMPO_U02).
4. Although the extension field added into key figure of this data source, there is no value displaying in the data source, even if there is value maintained in the order itself.

As per current design of data source "Purchase Order Delivery Reliability(SRMPO_U02)", extension fields on item level will be visible only when delivery is created against the purchase order item.

Once the delivery is created against the purchase order item, data of extension fields of purchase order items will be visible against that delivery ID & item ID.

For purchase order header data, no such restriction is present. Since this data source is for delivery details, user can even use filter in selection criteria on field "Delivery ID" to show the data only where delivery is present.

This is standard design.
