3384054 - Users are able to see all members in story filter even if data access control (DAC) is enabled in SAP Analytics Cloud(SAC).

In classic mode filters still show restricted members even if DAC is enabled.

SAP Analytics Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Set DAC for a model "MODEL". For user 'A', provide access to only one member 'M1' of dimension 'D1'.
  2. Create a story in classic mode and use the model "MODEL".
  3. Click the story filter for dimension D1.
  4. All members are visible, not only 'M1'.

Static filters do not work with data access control in stories without optimized view mode turned on

SAP is committed to reviewing and responding to the ideas submitted on a regular basis. The ideas with the most votes will receive a higher level of attention for response and consideration. The processes and procedures associated with this site will continue to evolve and enhance over time. Refer to Knowledge Base Article 1515837 for more details.
