3384111 - Error FF703 in BP transaction for Romanian Company Code

Symptom

A  business partner in SAP has the Romania country designation. 
Execute a BP transaction for this partner and select a new option from the "Change in BP role" drop-down list. Error code FF703 occurs with a message: "Company code not assigned to country or country to calculation procedure."
