3384375 - Changes are not visible for story creator in View Mode, but for other users the new version is displayed correctly in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Specific story has got corrupted for specific user in SAC.
• When story owner creates changes in an existing story e.g. changing the text in the story, the same user cannot see those changes in View mode.
• When another user than the creator is opening the story, the adjusted view is displayed.
• Clearing the cache and changing the browser e.g. from Chrome to Edge => not solved the issue.
• Save As the story in Edit mode => not solved the issue.
• With newly created story => not reproducible.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2023.16.10

1. Login to the SAC with a specific user with BI Admin roles.
2. Open the story in Edit mode, do some modifications and save the story.
3. Open the story in View mode with the same user => modifications won't be visible.
4. Open the same story as other user => modifications will be visible.

• The story bookmark will save filters, input controls, prompts the change of a widget itself and the display of data on it, see help guide: Bookmark and Share Story Views
• If the saved bookmark was set as default at story view mode, it will load original story first then apply bookmark and overwrite the above settings at view time.
• If there was several adjustments made by the user and saved, it should be applied at original view at view mode, but it will be overwritten with the default bookmark.
• It's the expected behavior of bookmark at story view mode.
