3384379 - Email Notification are not getting triggered when Candidates are moved to the Default status with method Drag&Drop

No one (candidates, Agency users, operators) receive the status triggered emails when the candidates are being manually moved from an in progress status to the Default status with the method “drag and drop”.

The emails are only being received when we manually change the status in the Application page by selecting “New application” value in the picklist associated to the status field.

This issue affects all recipients that are configured in the Application status settings in “Edit Applicant Status Configuration”, meaning, where an email template is associated.

1. Go to the Application workbench
2. Select a candidate
3. Move the candidate from an in progress status back to the Default status (New Application) with the “drag and drop” method
4. No recipient configured in “Edit Applicant Status Configuration” for the Default status is receiving the email

Product Management decided not to fix this on the legacy application page. Since the New Redesigned Workbench is already turned on by default for all customers we will ensure that the fix will be applied for the New Redesigned Workbench of the application.

With the New Redesigned Workbench non applicants (candidates who have been forwarded and added to Job Requisitions but have not applied) will never receive any status related email until they apply. 

It is best practices anyway to have candidates to apply to Job Requisitions they have been added to in order to avoid any possible issues down the line. 

Operators should receive status related emails for non applicants though. 

Please note that the above behaviour does not apply to the Forward as Applicant action as this does actually treat the candidates as though they have applied.
