3384416 - Employee edited Advances Eligibility without having permission granted. - Employee Central

You noticed an Advance Eligibility was changed/ updated by an employee that does not have permission granted in his role for Manage Data or Manage Advances.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Advances

The "Eligibility for Advances" object is not secured, and when there was a workflow request for this object. 

This is general behavior for all MDF objects is that if the object is not secured and the a workflow is triggered for this, even if the employee does not have permission to Manage Data, they will be able to see the quickcard for the object and from there edit the record.

Set "Eligibility for Advances" object to "secured" and then grant the permissions for it.

For employees to be able to request, they need at least "view" permissions. For Admins, grant "View" and Edit".
