3384439 - You Are Receiving an Error Message When Trying to Integrate SAP Business ByDesign and SAP Success Factors

You have performed the configuration to integrate SAP Business ByDesign and SAP Success Factors, however the system is showing the error message below in the Web Service Message Monitoring.

An exception occurred.EC CC Repl. error: [LGN0004]You’re not allowed to access APIs using Basic Authentication

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to the Application and User Management Work Center.
2. Go to the Web Service Message Monitoring view.
3. Check for the errors generated from the Integration Scenario.

This error message is occurring because the Scoping Question below is scoped:

Do you want to enable OAuth based authentication for cost center replication in SuccessFactors Employee Central integration scenario?

However, since there is no OAuth based authentication setup for cost-center replication in the system, the error is occurring.

There are two approaches to fix it.

1. While editing project scope, de-scoping (uncheck) the above question and save the project. Then logout from the system and login again. Then try for cost-center replication.
2. Setup the OAuth based authentication for cost center replication. Check the below SAP help document for the same. Then try for cost-center replication.
