3384467 - Newly created Mashup is not visible in Agent Desktop Customer Hub view

Symptom

Newly created HTML Mashup is not visible under the Customer Hub Content Side By Side view

Environment

  • SAP Service Cloud V1
  • SAP Cloud for Service
  • SAP Cloud for Sales
  • Agent Desktop Add-On

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Created an Mashup of type "HTML Mashup"
    1. Go to Administrator -> Mashup Authoring
    2. Click "New" -> "HTML Mashup"
    3. Select "Port Binding Type" = "With Port Binding"
    4. Under Port Binding, select "Agent Desk Information"
    5. Enter a descriptive Mashup Name (this will be referenced after)
    6. Enter the rest of information required per your requirements
    7. Save and activate the Mashup
  2. Add the Mashup to the Agent Desktop UI
    1. Go to Administration > Service and Social> Configure Agent Desktop >
    2. Go to "Extensibility"
    3. Navigate to customerHubSBS, then click on the + to expand the Customer Hub Content SBS
    4. Click on Manage Tabs, and click on the + to add a new tab
    5. Name the tab as per your requirement, then hit apply
    6. Navigate back to the "Customer Hub Content S B S", and click on the pencil next to the newly created tab
    7. Now click on the > arrow to select the Mashup created in step 1
    8. Hit Apply, restart the session and test

Cause

Configuration issue

Resolution

  1. Go to Customer Hub Content S B S 
  2. Click on Manage Tab -> then click on the arrow ">" for the related Mashup
  3. Uncheck the "Show on Event Trigger"
  4. Apply the changes, restart the browser ,and Retest.
