3385248 - Erroneous Messages for FpAdsCall Service Interface


On Web Service Message Monitoring, some messages from Service Interface "FpAdsCall" fail with error "HTTP Code: 400 (Bad Request)".

Reproducing the Issue

  1.  Go to the Administrator work center.
  2. Go to the General Settings work center view.
  3. Open the Web Service Message Monitoring under System Administration.
  4. Select query "All".
  5. Filter for Service Interface "FpAdsCall".
  6. See the errors.


The FpAdsCall service interface is called when end users want to check the PDF version of sales quotes and orders. Then, when C4C calls Adobe server to get the PDF version, there could be some temporary issue on Adobe's side, which resulted in this entry in Web Service Message Monitoring. 



You can ignore service interface FpAdsCall as these are internal SAP call interfaces, and they should be up and running now. If you wish, you can cancel these messages.
