3385403 - Mobile Application Accessibility / Screen Reader

Symptom

We are experiencing a number of challenges with mobile application accessibility, such as

  • Focus does not shift to the "Available" button after the "requesting" button,
  • Absence type required button role=”button” is not getting announced. Screen Reader is just announcing “Absence Type Required” as a plain text. Its role of being button is not getting, read.
  • When focus is falling on checkbox button, SR is not announcing anything. SR users will not be able to understand how to select valid reason,
  • Focus is not moved inside the date picker of start date. Screen reader users will not be able to select date. Hence, wont be able to apply for time off.
