3385508 - How to close the production material request even if the goods issue has been done - SAP S/4HANA Cloud

The goods issue has been completed for production material request, but the complete status(Cmpl.Stat.) remain as "Not Started".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Create Production Order and release it.
2. Production material request is created in EWM.
3. Do staging and confirm the warehouse task.
4. Consume materials and post goods issue in EWM.
5. The completion status remain as not started for the production material request.

The production order is not completed yet. The Production Material Request GI status doesn't influent it's completion status.

The completion status is controlled by the production order.

The PMR completion status DCO does not depend on GI status, because the business doesn't use up the full quantity of the components.

And, it doesn't depend on the GR of the production order. Even the GR has been done for finished product, it doesn't mean the production order has been completed.

The PMR status is in sync with Production order status, PMR status is set as completed once production order status is set as CLOSE DMC=9 or Deleted DMC=5.
