Option for addition of Extension field in the Enterprise Search/ Global Search for Leads does not exist.

Cause
Extension fields cannot be enabled for Enterprise Search / Global Search view for leads.
Resolution
This is the standard behavior of the system.
If the feature/functionality is needed as a matter of urgency, please refer to KBA 3475641 - Functionality Currently not Available.
