3385774 - Error FH211 "Cost element category &1 is not permitted with account category &2" while changing cost element category

When trying to change the category for a Cost Element, for example in G/L account master data, the error FH211 "Cost element category &1 is not permitted with account category &2" is triggered.

The selected cost element category is not part of the Account category (Primary / Secondary costs).

You need to specify a Cost Element category that is part of the account category. You can check the reference table in the SAP Help Portal documentation under See Also tab.
