Symptom
An error message was encountered during the uploading of a List Price via Microsoft Excel Add-in.

Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Product Portfolio work center.
- Select List Prices View.
- Click on New - List Prices from Microsoft Excel.
- In the template add all the necessary information.
- Right click to unhide the Scale columns.
- In Scale 1 quantity enter a quantity higher than zero.
- In Scale 1 price enter a price.
- In Scale 2 quantity enter a quantity.
- In Scale 2 price enter a price.
- Click on Save Data to.
Error message: scale amounts are not in descending order.
Cause
The Excel Add-in has a limitation that prevents starting the scale from a number other than zero.
Resolution
The requirement is to provide a Scale quantity in increasing order and to ensure that the Scale price is in decreasing order, with the price being less than the previous amount.
