Symptom

Saving and activating a hierarchy takes longer than usual. Tracing the process (via ST12) shows that:

  • The majority of the time is spent on the database
  • The highest consumers are:
    DELETE RSMHIERNODE
    DELETE RSTHIERNODE
    UPDATE RSMHIERNODE
    UPDATE RSTHIERNODE
  • The SQL trace shows the majority of the time spent on
    DBTABLOG
    DDNTT
    DDNTT_HIST
