3386000 - Localized Application Status is not translating in Story Reports to the user's language

When a story report is used to report Localized Application Status for recruiting the status label is not translated.

For comparison the translation occurs in a table report but not in story report:

Story Report:

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Create a story report
2. Query -> Job Requisition -> Application -> Localized application status
3. Build a table within the story report
4. Change user language to another language
5. Report does not translate Localized application status

Issue is deemed expected behaviour.

The issue is deemed a product gap by development teams in Recruiting and SAP Analytics Cloud.

An enhancement has been created internally to bridge this gap:

At the moment there is no workaround for this within a story report and labels will appear as status name found Edit Applicant Status Configuration.
