Symptom
No validation occurs in the National ID portlet if the standard format is not maintained in Manage Business Configuration.
- Validation does not occur through Edit UI.
- Validation occurs in Add New Employee Page.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to employee profile.
- Navigate to National ID Portlet UI à Country: Ex - United Arab Emirates National ID Card Type: Emirates ID Change the National Id -> Save.
Error does not appear.
Please Note: National ID Validation is not working during import. - Navigate to Add New Employee --> In National ID Country: Ex - United Arab Emirates National ID Card Type: Emirates ID Change the National ID -> Save.
Error appears the format of National ID maintained in CSF Succession Data Model does not match with Standard format for country/region: ARE.
Cause
Code Defect.
Resolution
Engineering team has fixed this issue in 1H 2024 (b2401) release.
