For countries where TDT (Time-Dependent Tax) is active, the posting date is the tax determination date by default.

1. Open app "Create Supplier Invoice - Advanced" or app "Post General Journal Entries", enter parameters (Posting Date and Journal Entry Date) accordingly.
2. Click Tax, then the field Tax Reporting Date will be automatically generated by the system based on Posting Date or Journal Entry Date accordingly to your setting.

Before release 2308, it was possible to set 'Tax determination from document date' flag in Company Code Master Data SSCUI 100135 / Activity "Company Code-configure" under Manage Your Solution.

After release 2308 several configuration objects and items changed. SSCUI / Activity 100135 has several Successor Activities.

In SSCUI 106259 "Assign Company Code to Document Date for Tax Determination", it is possible to change this logic and set document date as tax determination date on company code level. According to Configuration Help:

"If time-dependent tax calculation is active or tax jurisdiction codes are effective, the tax percentage rates are determined based on the respective taxation date. By default, the posting date is used for determination. If you need to determine tax percentages based on the document date, set this option here."
