3386715 - Tax Declaration Reconciliation App shows inconsistent data in "Tax Box Tax Amount" and "Tax Box Base Amount"

In App Tax Declaration Reconciliation "X" is displayed as result in "Tax Box Tax Amount" and "Tax Box Base Amount".

Prerequisite: SSCUI 103011 / Activity "Define Enhanced Tax Box Structure" is maintained for Tax Boxes and Tax Groups.

1. Enter App Tax Declaration Reconciliation.
2. Enter company code and fiscal year.
3. Display the report. 'Tax Box Tax Amount' and 'Tax Box Base Amount' have value "X".

Tax attributes (tax code, transaction key, valid from date) are assigned to several boxes and therefore the number of displayed line items are too high.

"Please be aware that this app works best for countries/regions for which tax boxes (on the return form) are mapped to only one tax group. These “simple” tax box mappings are either for the tax base amount or the tax amount, and are easily read and calculated by this app. In these cases, tax box mappings are shown in the Tax Box Tax Amount or Tax Box Base Amount column.

In other countries/regions, the aggregated items compiled under the combination of tax code and tax rate validity period can be split. This means that they can be mapped to multiple tax boxes, according to document type, for example, or according to other criteria as determined by that respective tax authority. The tax boxes in question can be tax or tax base amount, as in the “simple” case, but could also be the total of the tax and tax base amounts, the tax base amount and the nondeductible tax, or a nondeductible tax amount. In these “complex” cases, this app may return either an error or incorrect information. This app can't display tax box mappings in these cases. To prevent any confusion, in these cases, both the Tax Box Tax Amount column and the Tax Box Base Amount column show an "X" for all line items."
