• Delete option disabled/greyed out for custom payment medium format created as a child tree.

1. In configuration activity Map Format Data for Payments  ID 100558

Copy Format Mapping, new format mapping name created as a child of the selected format mapping.

2.  Edit Format Mapping 

3. Delete Node greyed out. 

• Delete Icon/Action: You can only delete nodes that you have created. Inherited nodes can't be deleted, they can only be deactivated.
  
  
• Editing Node Properties: When you are in edit mode, the properties of existing nodes can be edited. Depending on the type of node, different properties can be edited or specified. 

1.1 Check the tree hierarchy, to see the dependent trees.
In example the CGI_CT tree is a parent tree and the displayed /Z_CGI_CT is a child tree (the child tree nodes come from the parent tree).

1.2 The 'Delete' option is always greyed out if a node is inherited from parent tree.

1.3 Use the 'Deactivate Node' option on a Node if you do not need it at all in the tree structure. In such case the Node will not be processed.  




1.4 Node no longer appears in format




1.5 To display deactivated nodes use filter.




1.6 Activate node again if needed. 

2.1 Redefined nodes are inherited nodes that you have edited or changed.  



2.2 . Revert to Original 

Reverts an edited node back to its original node type and properties. Note that only inherited nodes can be reverted. 

3 .Checking, Saving, Canceling and Releasing Format Mappings

4. You cannot edit format mappings delivered by SAP. To make changes, you must copy the mapping to your customer namespace first and apply your changes there.
