3386796 - Input string is not in the correct format error while adding a discount

When opening a quote or entering a discount value, the following error is displayed:
"Sorry for the inconvenience, but there seems to be an error in the system. An automatic notification has been sent our way and we'll be fixing the error as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can go back to the login page and continue working in SAP CPQ."

SAP CPQ

1. Log in to SAP CPQ.
2. Open any quote.
3. Enter a value in the Discount field.
4. The error is displayed.

• This issue can occur when the user's configured Number format does not match the format of the discount value being entered.
• For example, the user's Number format is set to 1.234,56, while the discount value is entered in the format 1,234.56.
  As a result, SAP CPQ is unable to parse the value and throws the "Input string was not in the correct format" error. 

• Update the user's Number format on the User page so that it matches the format of the values being entered.
• For example, if discount values are entered as 1,234.56, configure the Number format accordingly.
