3386800 - Missing labels causing misalignment in search fields from Resetting Password Page

Symptom

  • Search fields in Reset Password page are misaligned
  • Labels such as "username" and "first name" are not being displayed in the Resetting Password page

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Admin Center > Resetting User Password
  2. Choose any individual or group password reset options > see that search fields are misaligned and labels such as "username" and first name" are not being displayed

Cause

Labels are not translated to the page language in the data model. It can happen when customer sets up additional languages such as Arabic and Chinese, but does not add a translated en-US label.

Resolution

It requires access to Provisioning to check the Data Model. Please refer to your partner or raise an incident under component LOD-SF-PLT-DMC.

For partners/consultants:

Download the customer Data Model in Provisioning > "Import/export Data Model" and check if in the standard elements there is a translation for the page language under the affected label.
