3387360 - Color Gradient Appears Blank in Campaign Email Sent via Outlook

The user has designed an HTML Email Template for Sales Campaigns, featuring a template header with a Color Gradient. However, when the Test Email is sent via Outlook, the template header appears blank.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Sales Campaigns Workcenter
2. Go to Contents view
3. Open Campaign ABC with Color Gradient (Where ABC refer to the Campaign Name)
4. Navigate to Actions
5. Select the option Send Test Email
6. Enter your E-mail ID 
7. Select Send

Now verify in Outlook and observe the template header is blank.

When the Test Email is sent via Outlook, the template header appears blank as Color Gradients are not supported.

Outlook for Windows does not support CSS color gradients.
