3387699 - Limit on the number of responsibility groups to be created - Onboarding

Symptom

Is it possible to assign responsible groups if the number of responsible group exceeds 200?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Cause

This is a current system limitation. The current product version can only display the200 groups created.

Resolution

  • As per the standard design, there is a limitation of selecting from a maximum of 200 responsible groups in the dropdown list.
  • If you try to create more than 200 responsible groups, you will not be able to tag them via tasks due to a system limitation.
  • No impact on NDHR (so they can use more than 200 groups, and we recommend using a look up table to prevent performance issue)
  • It is suggested that administrators create an optimized list of responsible groups to prevent reaching the current limit of max 200 groups. 
As we are not be able to change the system behavior at least in the current version, you may also submit this as an enhancement requests to engage our Product Management Team from the customer's side.
