3388214 - After full purge import job history hire record (set effective start date as in the past) via API, EP status is still inactive

After full purge import job history hire record (set effective start date as in the past) via API for sample user, HRIS sync job was triggered immediately and completed successfully. But EP status is still inactive. 

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Import a new employee via API, set hire record event date = 12/30/9999,

after the employee is successfully created,

==> see EP status is Inactive.

 2. Full purge import job history hire record via API, set hire record event date as in the past, 

after import, from Provisioning, it can be seen HRIS sync job was triggered immediately and completed successfully,  

==> but EP status is still inactive.  

After importing data and HRIS Sync job was triggered immediately, sometimes system fetches the old data, means fetched the old inactive status.

There will be an enhancement in the coming b2311 release. It will delay run HRIS sync job, so the system will fetch all the newest data.

After b2311 release, the issue will be resolved. As a temporary workaround, you can run full HRIS sync job to solve the issue.
