Symptom

  • The Hana Database is not starting and in the Nameserver trace you find the below error message:

    "Topology.cpp(00416) : assign failed with persistence startup error. exception  1: no.2000004  
    (Basis/IO/FileAccess/impl/FileDescriptors.cpp:330) TID: 24000 Cannot open file ""<root>/datavolume_0000.dat"
