3388607 - Retroactive Change Restriction section does not show in Time Recording Admissibility

Symptom

As of 2311 release, Time Recording Admissibility has been enhanced so that it is now possible to restrict retroactive changes in the time sheet by setting up a calendar in the Time Recording Admissibility. Details in WNV page Calendar in Time Recording Admissibility can be referred to. This is a Time Tracking feature.

The Retroactive Change Restriction section should show up when the Amendments Allowed is set to Yes as below.

However it happens that the Retroactive Change Restriction section still does not appear even after you have set Amendments Allowed to Yes.


Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Manage Data.
  2. Create a new or edit an existing Time Recording Admissibility object.
  3. Set Amendments Allowed to Yes.
  4. The expected Retroactive Change Restriction section still does not show up.

Cause

This is due to missing RBP permission.

Resolution

  1. Go to Manage Permission Roles.
  2. Edit the corresponding Role.
  3. Click on 'Permission...' button.
  4. In 'Time Management Object Permissions' category, set the needed permissions for Time Recording Adimissibility.Retroactive Change Restriction, then press Finish.
  5. Save Changes
