3388613 - Unable to Set Workflow Rule Condition with Extension Field

When you define the conditions for the workflow rule biographical data with the extension field, you're unable to locate the specific custom field you want to use in the provided dropdown menu under 'Define Conditions' step.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Personnel Administration work center
2. Go to Employees view
3. Edit Employee XXX ( Here XXX is an employee )
4. Select the Personnel File 
5. Navigate to Biographical data in Personal data
6. Create an Extension field

Adding Workflow rule steps:

1. Go to Application and User Management work center
2. Go to Workflow Rules view
3. Create New and give description 
4. Select the required BO
5. In step 2-define conditions, go to Add Group button
6. When you trying to search for the particular extension field in edit condition, you are unable to fine

Extension fields of biographical data is not exposed to be used in workflow rules.

This is the reason, you are not able to find extension fields that you created in biographical data, while creating workflow rules.

This is the standard system behavior.
