Symptom
After importing eligible earnings data, Edit Employee History is not showing the correct calculated amounts.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
- Log in to system
- Navigate to Admin Center > Compensation > Compensation Home
- Select a variable pay template
- Select Plan Setup > Settings > Set Bonus Calculation
- Under the Basis Calculation Equation section, select Salary/Earnings and bonus target % derived from job info > Select Get the earnings from the earnings data table > Select Import Eligible Earnings Data > Select file > Upload
- Select Manage Users > Import Employee History From Employee Central > Select the Process button
- Select Manage Users > Edit Employee History > Search for a user
- The Basis column is not calculating correctly
Cause
This behavior occurs in specific configuration scenarios with the following criteria:
- The Variable Pay Plan is EC-enabled
- The Basis is derived from the earnings table with a custom mapping
Resolution
This is tentatively scheduled to be fixed in the 2311 release. Release dates can be reviewed on Product Release & Road Map Information.
