3388922 - SFTP Adapter Fails with 'java.net.UnknownHostException: https'

Symptom

  • An iFlow is deployed with an SFTP Sender adapter and the iFlow is displayed in an error state in the 'Manage Integration Content' monitor with an error of the following type - 

    [CAMEL][IFLOW][EXCEPTION] : org.apache.camel.component.file.GenericFileOperationFailedException: Cannot connect to sap-sftp://<UserID>@https:22     [CAMEL][IFLOW][CAUSE] : Cause: com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: java.net.UnknownHostException: https 

  • An iFlow is deployed with an SFTP Receiver adapter and while the iFlow is deployed successfully and running, messages are failing with an error of the following type - 

    org.apache.camel.component.file.GenericFileOperationFailedException: Cannot connect to sap-sftp://<userID>@https:22, cause: java.net.UnknownHostException: https
