3389293 - Not able to export the calculated measure from SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

It is not possible to export the calculated measures from SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to other systems either by the PUSH export (legacy export from the Modeler -> Data Management -> Export jobs) or the PULL export (Data Export Service API).

Export data from SAC to other systems by Modeler -> Data Management -> Export jobs or the Data Export Service (DES) API.

This is the current design.

Currently we cannot export calculated measures. However, there is a workaround:

• There is a model with the calculated measures. Now you can create a second model that contains all base measures as in the original model but also one base measure for each of the calculated measures.
  Now when using a cross model copy, you can map each calculated measure to the corresponding base measure in the second model.
  When the cross model copy is executed, the system calculates the calculated measures and persists them in the base measures of the second model.
  Now you can export the data with the calculated results from the second model.

The advantage of this approach is that the system automatically does this calculation and persisting of the values once you map the calculated measures to the target base measures in the target model.

If you would like to have a new feature to support the calculated measure export, you can create an enhancement request as per KBA 2424376. The product owners will review and implement the high-voted requests in the future SAC versions.
