3389698 - Time Forms Template Is Not Present In RBP Permission

• After creating a document generation template of category 'Absence Forms', the template is not present in the Manage Permission Role under 'Manage Time Forms Templates'

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Off

1. Create Time Form template as mentioned in the handbook: Implementing Time Forms: Creating the Template
2. Navigate to Manage Permission Role -> Manage Time Forms Templates. Either:
   • The created template is missing OR
   • Error occurs as "Assertion failed: permission list is empty"
     • 

This is a known limitation of RBP not refreshing when Document Generation Template of category 'Absence Forms' is created.

• Engineering team is working on enhancing the limitation (ECT-202010). The plan is to enhance it in the 1H 2024 release, but no yet confirmed.
• Until then, one of the below workaround can be followed:
  • After Time Form template is created -> Create a dummy document generation template of category 'Document Generation' -> Save.
    • This will refresh the RBP immediately, and therefore the absence form template will be visible in Manage Permission Role.
    • You may delete the dummy document generation template afterwards. OR
  • From Provisioning, run the 'Refresh RBP Model' job, after which the Time Form template will be visible in Manage Permission Role OR
  • Wait for the nightly 'Refresh RBP Model' job to auto run, after which the Time Form template will be visible in Manage Permission Role
