3390161 - Formulas XLOOKUP disappear when scheduling the Analysis Office workbook

Symptom

A workbook of Analysis Office contains XLOOKUP formulas of MS Office 365.

When scheduling the workbook in BI Platform, the formulas are missing in the delivered workbook.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Schedule an Analysis Workbook which contains XLOOKUP formulas;
  2. Confirm that the job is executed without any error, but the formulas are missing in the delivered workbook.

Cause

This is a limitation. The Analysis Office BIP Add-on does not support the formulas XLOOKUP.

Resolution

Workaround: replace the new XLOOKUP formulas with the old LOOKUP formulas of Excel in the workbook.
