3390323 - Error message REEXFI001 when posting trough transaction code RERAPP

Symptom

When posting a contract through transaction code RERAPP, especially when using "Type of Posting Run" - "REIP Integrated Posting", you get error message REEXFI001:

"Account assignment not possible until object XXX is released"

Even when the object is already released as mentioned in the error procedure, you still get the error message.
