3390326 - "INTERNAL_ERROR java.lang.IllegalStateException: Expected BEGIN_OBJECT but was BEGIN_ARRAY" when refreshing data for a BPC write-back model in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

The following error is received when we try to sync the data from the story for a BPC write-back model.

• INTERNAL_ERROR java.lang.IllegalStateException: Expected BEGIN_OBJECT but was BEGIN_ARRAY at line 1 column 2 path $
• An unhandled error occurred during writeback.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)

1. Open the SAC story.
2. Version management panel.
3. Click the Sync / Refresh button in the Version management panel.

Inconsistent data exists in the hierarchy of a BPC dimension between BW and BPC. For example, there are 7 hierarchies in BPC and only PARENTH1 exist in BW.

Open the BPC web client and process the inconsistent dimensions.
